What is a zip screen, how does it work and where is it used?
A zip screen is a motorised exterior blind whose fabric edges travel inside aluminium side channels. The guided edges help keep the fabric tensioned, producing a cleaner façade line and more controlled behaviour in wind than a conventional roller blind.
It is used on balconies, terraces, villa façades, windows, restaurants, cafés, pergola sides and winter gardens. Dimensions, orientation, wind exposure, fabric openness and motor choice should be assessed together.
